Interfraternity Council
The purpose of the Saint Louis University Interfraternity Council is to encourage members to learn and grow through brotherhood and shared values.
SLU is the proud home of nine Interfraternity Council fraternities, which have the support of alumni in St. Louis and around the country. Our oldest chapter has been chartered at SLU since 1927, giving our fraternal community a long-standing history on campus. Each fraternity brings something unique to the community.
We welcome you to explore our organizations. Whether you are looking for involvement in an intramural team, a cheering section at Billiken athletic events, a study group at Pius Library, a service trip with Women's Safe House, or a group to relax with on a Saturday night, you can find it in an IFC Fraternity.

Five needs-based scholarships will be offered to waive registration fees for any male-identifying student interested in participating in IFC Fall Formal Recruitment.
There are costs associated with fraternity and sorority life. You will learn more about the financial commitment during the recruitment process from initiated members. Our fraternity and sorority life community seeks to mitigate as many barriers as possible to increase accessibility. If you follow through with interfraternity recruitment and become initiated into a chapter, there are further scholarship opportunities available, such as the SLU IFC Scholarships and chapter-specific scholarships. It is important to note that receiving a scholarship does not guarantee a bid from any chapter.
