Rally to support Saint Louis University in 2026! SLU Giving Day, Saint Louis University's 24-hour giving initiative, is designed to benefit various fundraising efforts across campus. It has raised more than $2.88 million for SLU since launching in 2017 in the form of more than 6,635 gifts.
When we work together to support SLU, we can create more opportunities, fill bigger gaps and level playing fields. SLU Giving Day offers opportunities to support key projects across campus. Every dollar for scholarships, athletics and urgent university needs can help us reach our goals and unlock even more support. Early giving starts March 26.
How to Get Involved
Make a Gift on SLU Giving Day
You can designate your Giving Day contribution to your favorite area or split it between multiple projects. Learn about each project on our Giving Day webpage starting in the weeks before the event. Gifts of any amount can have an impact, boosting fundraising and participation totals and unlocking matching and challenge funds.
Set the Pace
Consider making your own matching or challenge gift to encourage others to support SLU. Historically, 87% of projects with a specific challenge met or exceeded their goal.
Become an Advocate
Advocates play a critical role in the success of SLU Giving Day and may receive prizes for their support. What's involved?
- Before early giving opens, post about SLU Giving Day two to three times on your personal social media accounts.
- On SLU Giving Day, use email, text or direct message to encourage at least 10 friends and family members to give to SLU. You'll also make one to three social media posts encouraging others to give.
- After SLU Giving Day, share or create original content to showcase SLU’s final fundraising numbers and to thank all who participated.

On SLU Giving Day, click the Give Now button at the top of this page or visit the Saint Louis University Office of Alumni Engagement on Facebook, X or Instagram to access the SLU Giving Day 2026 crowdfunding platform. Gifts can be made via credit card or virtual wallet, including PayPal, Venmo and Google Pay.
Your gift can support any campus need listed on the SLU Giving Day 2026 crowdfunding platform. Just pick the project you want to support or split your gift among multiple campus initiatives.
